Untitled

[edit]

There is a Deadshot fan film at http://www.fanfilmsquarterly.com that should be mentioned in other media.

the word peculiar is used too many times.

His guns do not look like any Colt revolvers ever made, but rather custom guns designed just for his style, so I am taking out "colt revolvers."

Fan Creations

[edit]

Fan-created product, no matter how high quality, is discouraged from being part of official Wikipedia articles. After all, where would it stop? All fanfic stories? Art? I'm sure many, many talented people have written about or drawn Lawton.

Yes and no... If it can be shown through sourcing that the fanfic, or flick, is what got a writer/artist/director a professional start, or that it "saved" or popularized a character, then it would be. I believe, notable enough for inclusion. Otherwise... - J Greb 00:26, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Never Miss

[edit]

Why does the phrase "never miss" link to the Green Arrow? There needs to be some explanation for that link. Dozenthey (talk) 02:46, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Barsad

[edit]

I can find no explicit statement that Barsad=Deadshot. The closest is a quote on IMDB that states that the co-writer was interested in Deadshot, not that Barsad IS a version of Deadshot.Underwriter (talk) 03:53, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It falls under fan based WAG and shouldn't be in the article. - J Greb (talk) 06:02, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Power/Abilities section

[edit]

This article is missing information on the character's powers and abilities, this should be added to the article.--Paleface Jack (talk) 01:06, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just a comment on his powers. This section has this line: "Deadshot has no superhuman powers, but is the top marksman in the DC Universe, possessing superhuman precision,"

This is a contradictory statement. Either he has no superhuman powers or he has superhuman precision. Which is it? Having read the way he is portrayed in the comics, TV, and now in the Suicide Squad movie, he clearly has super aim, which is a superhuman power. I suggest removing the part about him not having superhuman powers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.111.236.10 (talk) 20:08, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Deadshot. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Orphaned references in Deadshot

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Deadshot's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "ProductionBegins":

  • From DC Extended Universe: D'Alessandro, Anthony (February 27, 2019). "Will Smith Will Not Return As Deadshot In James Gunn's 'Suicide Squad 2'". Deadline Hollywood. Archived from the original on February 27, 2019. Retrieved February 27, 2019. {{cite web}}: Unknown parameter |deadurl= ignored (|url-status= suggested) (help)
  • From The Flash (season 2): "The Flash season 2 filming begins in July: Firestorm's new powers and Barry's new love will make Iris jealous?". IBTimes UK. June 13, 2015. Archived from the original on January 5, 2016. Retrieved October 26, 2016. {{cite web}}: Unknown parameter |dead-url= ignored (|url-status= suggested) (help)

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 13:24, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sources for suicide squad kill the justice league

[edit]

there is no source for Deadshot being an imposter so I found a few articles reporting on it though I'm not sure if they are viable sources https://www.cbr.com/suicide-squad-kill-justice-league-deadshot-fake/amp/ https://www.denofgeek.com/games/suicide-squad-kill-the-justice-league-deadshot-character-swap-arkhamverse-retcon-controversy/ Vampyre77 (talk) 16:37, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
