Please keep lede as GA version[edit]

  1. Let's please keep the lede intro sect as the stable WP:GA quality version.
  2. Per WP:LEAD, the lede intro sect should summarize the entire article's contents and be able to function as its own standalone summary of the article itself for those that don't read the body text.
  3. WP:LEAD says: "The lead serves as an introduction to the article and a summary of its most important aspects. The lead should be able to stand alone as a concise overview. It should define the topic, establish context, explain why the topic is notable, and summarize the most important points, including any prominent controversies."

Thank you,

Update: I've made a couple attempts at compromise, and trimmed the lede sect down a bit from the prior stable WP:GA version. Hopefully this looks a bit better now, — Cirt (talk) 17:16, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
