Proposed merger[edit]

I am proposing a merger of Dear enemy recognition into this page.__DrChrissy (talk) 19:46, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea, recognition is a mechanism of the Dear Enemy Phenomenon/Effect, should be all on the one page. RubyEStephens (talk) 01:16, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Actually the Nasty neighbour effect page could probably be merged too, they're two sides of one coin. Could retitle it Dear Enemy and Nasty Neighbour Effects perhaps??RubyEStephens (talk) 01:19, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I did the first merger since they appear to be identical, and no one has commented here since September. I'll leave the other one, since there's no merge request. Guettarda (talk) 16:36, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A human effect too?[edit]

Shouldn't there be a section about how this applies to people as well?

Yes. Old saying "good fences make good neighbors".
