Deas Docks not on Deas Island
[edit]Removing the comment about BC Ferries Docks. They are actually on the Richmond side of the Fraser not on Deas Island. Wakemp 19:57, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Deas Island no longer and Island
[edit]This article is written as though Deas Island were still an island. It is no longer and Island. There is no longer a Deas Island bridge, as stated in the article, there is instead an earthen berm at its northeastern tip connecting it to mainland Delta. I do not know when this land bridge was constructed, but this article needs to be re-written to reflect the identity of Deas Island as no longer an island. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.84.185.174 (talk) 03:07, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
We own a map of lower mainland purchased in 1967 showing Deas slough open to Fraser River, no land bridge at that time — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.207.64.197 (talk) 22:58, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
