Use of Main article-link in month subsections[edit]

For some time now I've been updating the death lists by adding notable entries. I started with article Deaths in December 2005 and have been working my way back for a few years now.
From 1999 onwards the year list could not be split up into articles per month before adding entries and references; the number of entries per months are too limited to warrant a separate page and the new articles would not survive page curation because of the lack of references. So regarding Deaths in 1999 I processed the entire year before splitting it up. Issue was that at the end of this process the page became so large that it took quite long to (re)load the page when editing. That's why regarding 1998 onwards I changed the update process: I create a separate month article after which I will place a 'Main article'-link under the month subsection of this list. It will look like this:

==December 1996==

===1===

===2===

..et cetera

Additional benefit is that there will be no format conflict within the same article; currently two formats exist:
Before 1997:

After 1997:

In closing; after the last month in 1996 is processed this page will become a redirect to Lists of deaths by year#1996 since 12 month articles now exist. This is already true for Deaths in 1998 en Deaths in 1997. Deaths in 1996 will be the last article that will be processed this way. Mill 1 (talk) 21:04, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deaths In 1996 Add Images[edit]

Absolutely not. These are list pages and do not need embellishment. Also, images will blow out the loading time. WWGB (talk) 11:36, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
