Ted Stevens confirmed dead[edit]

The article currently lists Stevens' death as occurring on Aug. 10, with an internal note that the NTSB has not fixed the precise time of death, so it's therefore uncertain whether he actually died on the 9th or the 10th. The state medical examiner [1] believes that death was immediate or nearly so. Multiple media organizations have reported the DoD as the 9th, and I have found none giving it either as Aug. 10 or as "the 9th or 10th". I see no reason not to adjust the DoD in the article to the 9th. JTRH (talk) 17:13, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
