Talk:Deathstar (video game)
Wrong dates
[edit]The game was released in 1985 (after Repton, as referenced in the article, which was summer 1985). Even the Atarisoft version has (C)1985 on screen. The Blue Ribbon version was also one of the first titles in that series, released in 1989/90 (it appears in adverts in early 1990). The compilation dates are also wrong (eg Computer Hits 4 was 1988 - the review is from the March 88 issue of Electron User). The dates here all seem to come from the old 8bs site which has been used on many other sites (including Acorn Electron World) but they seem to have been guessed at and then treated as gospel! I would edit but don't have references (except the dates of the magazines). --Retro junkie (talk) 21:53, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks again Retro Junkie. Likewise, I would correct the dates if could find further sources. For the moment, I have at least tagged it with the effect that the accuracy is disputed and also that the 8bs source is unreliable. Regards Green Lane (talk) 10:24, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
- Since these have not been re-sourced, am going to change to the correct dates (which can be checked in any contemporary magazines). There is more than enough evidence above to show it was a 1985 game rather than 1984. Retro junkie (talk) 19:40, 27 October 2011 (UTC)

External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Deathstar (video game). Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
