Comments on Sean Wilsey and his memoir

[edit]

Any reference to Sean Wilsey's memoir was removed in the last few edits, which is complete heresy. This article would not exist if not for his novel. Is this spin control of some sort? In any case, I added an NPOV sentence at the end and a recent article link about the controversy. Slugmaster 17:53, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a novel, but something that at least claims to be true (factual). I agree with the rest, though, especially re this person's supposed relevance. Someone removed the bit about the book again yesterday, but I restored it. Keep watching for further attempts at image-control. --Andarin, San Francisco, 28 NOV 07

A Different John Traina? The link to "John Traina" leads to "John Peter Traina". From the writeup, this is a different person than referenced here. I'm going to suggest uncoupling the the link. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.124.48.159 (talk) 14:28, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am slightly confused? Are we not allowed to ask Dede Wilsey how she could treat a person whom needs to learn love and trust to be so treated as a child. What are the years allowed for a person to claim child abuse? This is a world wide issue, why can't exposure be used to help future families. You are free to ask anyone in the US any question you want, as long as the questions dont qualify as threats or hate crimes. this is a free country. However, the talk page of a wp article on a person is NOT the place to ask such questions. Nor is this the place to ask the statutory limitations on child abuse. This page is EXCLUSIVELY for the development of the article on Dede Wilsey, by suggesting sources, helping with focus on the article, and removing ANY unsourced facts or commentary, per WP:BLP.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 15:51, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
