I got rid of a bunch of unsourced statements saying that Deep Ng is a drug dealer, a former stripper, etc, added by a bunch of anons. They have survived here for a long time. They are probably all false. Andrew_pmk | Talk 09:33, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This page has been vandalized on a daily basis. Whenever it was reverted, someone vandalize it again.

Erhmm, almost everything on that page is false. I am not sure why the information is still up there but it should definitely be cleaned up.

Propose to delete this page[edit]

As the flagged warning states, this kind of bio needs independent citations and verifications. When one clicks on the 2 external links provided, one link is broken, and the other links to a commercial ad. Of the filmography cited, not a single picture lists him as actor. He's alleged to have won in the 2002 HK regional contest, but when you look at the names listed, he's only 2nd runner-up. Heck, how many 2nd runner-ups in Miss America contests are listed in WP, or any from the 50 states? This is just a HK regional. IMHO, this kind of page hurts the credibility of WP. EJohn asked me to comment, but I cannot really judge from my own knowledge the significance of awards in this field. But going from the article on the awards, 2nd runner up = 3rd place. In most fields, 3rd place in a major international highest-level contest might sometimes be notable, but this seems to be junior level, and usually only the winner would be, if that. For the 1st place in the Regional, (if interpreted as a Hong Kong national contest) , notability would depend on the contest. National junior winners is one of the uncertain fields, but in a few cases it has been upheld, sometimes not. What bothers me more, is the various people listed in the WP tabulation of contestants who are not winners, nor ranking even so high as him, and do not have wikipedia articles. it would seem fairer to have there a table on actual winners plus others with WP articles. But this is a comment from someone who is both a stranger to the subject and cannot read the language DGG (talk) 22:59, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
