Gaffa[edit]

Is Gaffa.org a reliable source? It seems to be a self published fan web site. --BwB (talk) 17:47, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It really is. Gaffa.org functions as a Wikipedia of Kate Bush, a non-collaborative one, though; it is in the sense that it holds almost every piece of knowledge of Kate and her work. I hope this is a good reply. Nicoletis (talk) 02:19, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not according to Wikipedia guidelines. Though well-intentioned, an open wiki or fan site doesn't cut it. Of the three links attributed to gaffaweb the first is to a copy of the lyrics; if the original album has the lyrics with the packagin, that would be the best place to cite. Sheet music would be another published source that's fair game.
The second and thrid citation are actually the same (even the typos are reproduced) and are both a transcript of a BBC Radio 1 broadcast, which is actually the source that should be cited, although its much harder to verify than the incomplete transcript readily available on gaffaweb.JoeJJC (talk) 16:47, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
