Notability

[edit]

This article fails to establish notability per the policy set out at WP:N. If no redress is provided, it should be brought to AfD for consensus and I propose to do so. Eusebeus 00:24, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A small, less-than-notable school. Notability has not been established in the two years since preceding comment. It is not the job of this encyclopedia to compile a list of every school in the country. This and other tiny, non-notable schools should be examined hard and deleted if deemed fit. PRODing. Several editors above made good cases for deletion based on lack of notability. The page hasn't been deleted, and DCHS has accrued some notability. The school made international headlines a few years ago because of a dress code incident. Daily mail article here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3008781/Catholic-school-sparks-outrage-BANNING-cuts-prom-dress-making-girls-send-photos-approval.html. I'm not claiming DM is a reliable source - the article is wrong on almost every major point - but it does establish some notability, in my opinion. Would this make the page worth keeping? Music section

[edit]

Section 6 is titled "Music, dram, art, and forensics". Beyond the typo, the article 1) has no references, 2) doesn't include any information on music, art, or forensics, and 3) shows clear bias ("simple, elegant, and classic plays"). This section should be deleted. Antimony1794 (talk) 20:34, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
