well it seems 119.12.213.132 found my comment on unsourced material so controversial he/she erased it from the discussion page all together. so much for "democratic" socialist perspective. as i said previously, i count several unsourced assertions on the dsp page. now whether my censor or who ever is making these assertions thinks they are true or not is beside the point. verifiable material means it needs verification, i.e. a source. DSP/RSP controversy[edit]

Could someone please put an end to "Undefeatedhost"'s little acts of vandalism/ spamming. It is clearly an RSP partisan bot/ monomaniac, and does little or nothing for the quality of the article. Friedrich Oswald (talk) 13:53, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not familiar with the ins and outs of this dispute, but until it's properly resolved I'm adding a POV tag. Please do not remove until an admin has umpired. Thanks. --Franz.87 (talk) 15:17, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Although numbers are always controversial, wikipedia is read around the world, and it is essential to give an idea of the size of the DSP - even vaguely (" a few hundred?" "A few hundred thousand activists"). Can someone please add this info? 90.11.190.47 (talk) 07:09, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Abandonment of Trotskyism[edit]

this section needs expanding: "the view that socialist revolution in Third World countries... will take place in two connected stages." how will it take place? Marxwasright (talk) 03:04, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

merge socialist alliance section with socialist alliance page[edit]

since it has been almost a year since the dsp dissolved into the socialist alliance, i propose the same be done with this section as it makes up about half the article's contents. Marxwasright (talk) 16:49, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"first Marxist party in the world to actively align itself to the green movement"[edit]

This claim should be removed, as during the formation of the German Greens in the late 70s and early 80s several German maoist parties including the KBW and the KPD[AO] decided to effectively dissolve themselves into the green party. This may be debatable as they pretty much ceased to mention marxism at the moment they "actively aligned themselves", but the majority of the Kommunistischer Bund (KB) was part of the Green movement (not the Green Party) throughout the 80s, being involved in various left-green electoral coalitions as early as 1978 (Bunte Liste in Hamburg).--Kiffahh (talk) 09:21, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
