G11[edit]

10 of the entry's 12 references are to the group's own social media accounts, including a fundraising page. Innisfree987 (talk) 00:40, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Innisfree987: This is true, and reliance on primary sources is very much something we wish to avoid. However, bad referencing and a lack of reliable sources doesn't mean the content of the article is spam/advertising, so I have little option but to decline the speedy deletion request under WP:G11. There might, however, be a case for speedy deleting this article under WP:A7 or seeking consensus for deletion at WP:AFD. WaggersTALK 12:05, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Waggers, I appreciate the reply. To me, between the insertion of the fundraising page that was in no way needed as a reference and the fact that 80% of the prose came not just from any primary sources but from the organization's own page meant when tagged, the entry in its current form it serves only to...publicise an entity...and would require a fundamental rewrite in order to become encyclopedic. But perhaps someone will wish to do that rewrite; in the meantime I removed the OR, tagged for notability and unreviewed so we'll see if someone else has a further opinion, or interest in improving the entry (if there are sources to do so). Organization location[edit]

Is it fully accurate to list the organization's location as Charlotte metro area? Would it not be more accurate and encyclopedic for the organization to reflect where it actually operates from, in Albemarle, NC? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2606:A000:1218:6082:5544:D57A:7FA0:1ED6 (talk) 17:37, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
