Harv errors?

[edit]

@Madalibi:: Not sure what you mean by these harv errors - I used {{sfn}} and it works fine. ► Philg88 ◄ talk 11:49, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Philg88. If you want to see "HarvErrors" automatically, just install this script. It will change your life I tell ya! Well maybe not, but it's extremely useful. A Harverror, which is short for "Harvard error", happens when a footnote can't connect to a bibliographical entry, and vice-versa. The {{sfn}} template always creates proper-looking links, but when the author you cite doesn't exactly correspond to the "author=" field in the bibliographical entry, the link doesn't connect to that entry, and you get a HarvError. The proper "sfn" for multiple authors is {{sfn|Hanes|Savello|2002}}, not {{sfn|Hanes & Savello|2002}} In other words you have to separate the names of the two authors with "|" so that they correspond to the "author1=" and "author2=" fields in the bibliography. Well, enough said: just install that script and you will see for yourself! Madalibi (talk) 12:10, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I see. Thanks @Madalibi:! That's my fault for not reading the {{sfn}} documentation properly. I shall install that script and wait for my life to change ....:) 14:16, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What was the final fate of the opium?

[edit]

Just read an interesting report that might be worth a mention somewhere on this.
