Tutor/guardian
[edit]Malcolm Lyall Darling was tutor and guardian to the Raja of Dewas State (senior) around 1907. This implies that the raja was under the care of the Court of Wards (India). Can anyone elaborate on this? Which raja, for example? - Sitush (talk) 12:42, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
- No worries - I've worked it out from Roy, Ashish (1994). "Framing the Other: History and Literary Verisimilitude in E. M. Forster's "The Hill of Devi"". Criticism. 36 (2): 265–289. JSTOR 23116269.
