I've removed the section reproduced below. It's completely uncited and seems in direct conflict with the only source we do have, that says "a tailor; his life was irregular and he was often destitute". Obviously, it can go back in with a source. As an aside, I've changed back his nationality to Welsh. It was that until a recent change inserted British which had no explanation and seems, frankly, weird. KJP1 (talk) 13:08, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

David Roberts was a successful tailor with a comfortable income. His family were wealthy landowners and obtained revenue from numerous farms and land.
Roberts eventually died in penury at the workhouse at Bala.
