Dharamsala airportKangra Airport – back to official name, as at World Aero site [1] and the airport's facebook page at [2]. One can see in the photos of the airport at its Facebook page that the name is 'Kangra Airport'. Funandtrvl (talk) 23:59, 16 October 2017 (UTC) Relisted. I don't see any proof that 'Dharamsala Airport' is the common name for this airport, either. That's why it would be less confusing to name it after the official name. Funandtrvl (talk) 21:46, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Need I remind you that we are not discussing "Dharamsala Airport" as a potential name?  ONR  (talk)  00:34, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I know, if the name change was declined, then I was going to request that the "Airport" word be capitalized. Funandtrvl (talk) 20:05, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support I see some support for Kangra Airport in reliable references and no support for other names. Google search for "DHM airport" gives a fairly even mix between Kangra, Dharamsala, and Gaggal to refer to the location of the airport. While Dharamsala is more notable in the west due to the presence of the Dalai Lama, that isn't relevant here. power~enwiki (π, ν) 03:53, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
