Warnings at top of article[edit]

{{helpme}}

Would it solve everything if I change my username? because I would not mind changing it to my real name and my article has been tag for speedy deletion, can you help me with that? I am open to changes on my article and suggestions for improvement, but please don't just delete it without giving me any chance for improvement. Thanks..Diabetes.victoria (talk) 05:54, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to make this a better article by removing all the warnings at the top of this article. Can someone guide me? Thanks! Diabetes.victoria (talk) 05:33, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please read the polices linked by the warnings at the top of the article. After reading those policies, edit the page to address the perceived issues. Then, if you feel that the article no longer has the indicated problem, remove the warning tag (it will be found in curly braces in the editable view of the article). If other editors disagree, they will restore the warnings, start a discussion about the content, or both. However, do not remove the {{db-copyvio|url=http://www.diabetesvic.org.au/Aboutus/tabid/83/Default.aspx}} tag yourself. Instead, add the {{hangon}} tag and post a repsonse addressing the suspected copyright violation on this talk page.C45207 | Talk 06:12, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I urge you to read the policies linked in each warning before making any edits.
Also, please see my comments at User talk:Diabetes.victoria.
Thank you.—C45207 | Talk 06:12, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I think I've addressed the concern over the copyrighted material by deleting the particular content, and changing the left over copy with my own words. Can someone check it out and see if it's alright now and help me remove the speedy deletion mark? Diabetes.victoria (talk) 06:41, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I re-worked the article. The copyright concern tag has been removed.—C45207 | Talk 07:31, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you C45207 for taking the time in helping me with this. I will try to make this article grow, and will make an effort to remove the stub marking. Again, thanks. Btw, I've made a new article about on of the Diabetes Australia Victoria's Campaign called Walk n Talk, is everything okay with that? I hope there's no trouble with that. Diabetes.victoria (talk) 07:33, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'd recommend incorporating the relevant content into the Diabetes Australia Victoria article. Though, the current tone is not appropriate: it reads too much like promotional material. The campaign is probably not notable to warrant an entire page for itself.
As for the content of the page, see Race for the Cure as compared to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.—C45207 | Talk 07:46, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
