This reads like an infomercial for the company. I believe it should be deleted since the company is not noteworthy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.176.201.122 (talk) 04:24, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Awards, honours, ratings

[edit]

This section states:

... even so Diamond Resorts International does not have Better Business Bureau accreditation

Does it make sense to point this out, given the BBB's statement that:

Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation.

Do I hear a second for adding the "written like an advertisement" template to this article? Fabrickator (talk) 22:07, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article is certainly written like an advertisement. Adding the tag until changes are made. --Elephanthunter (talk) 17:52, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Revenue

[edit]

Somebody needs to change Revenue to NET INCOME. A company with all those properties makes revenue in the hundreds of millions, possibly in the billions. $29 million would be NET Income. If $29 million was gross revenue, thats not the kind of revenue that allows such a company to amass the number of properties that they own. Property Ownership

[edit]

The article says "managed resorts" and "affiliated resorts." Managed and affiliated do not mean owned. Does this company own any of their properties? MS, Dania Fl 206.192.35.125 (talk) 18:20, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Property List

[edit]

Once upon a time, the list of Diamond Resorts properties was titled Selected Resort Locations. Now it's just Properties, with nothing to indicate that the list consists of only a subset of the properties.

Presumably there should be some basis for selecting the properties and this should be indicated, but is there really any good reason to include a list of properties rather than just have a reference to the DRI's "locations" page? Fabrickator (talk) 01:22, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
