Merger Proposal[edit]

This article seems to discuss the same topic as article Diaphragm pacing. This one is better linked and categorized, so it would be easiest to merge them to here. Tenbergen (talk) 21:09, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article seems to be short on treatment. Aren't there more treatment options than just the pacemaker?

Perhaps, but this article isn't about alternatives in general, it's specifically about pacemakers. DS (talk) 13:27, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merger[edit]

There were no less than three articles all on the same topic: Phrenic nerve pacing, Diaphragm pacing, and this one. After looking at their content and consulting the literature, "diaphragm pacing" seems to the most current phrasing. I decided to merge the content here and on phrenic nerve pacing (which was nearly a word-for-word copy of the "diaphragm pacing" article) into Diaphragm pacing. In that article I added a ton of new content and citations, dividing it into intro, history, devices, and surgical procedures. Hope this massive update works.
