Fair use rationale for Image:Sunny Day Real Estate - Diary.jpg

[edit]

Image:Sunny Day Real Estate - Diary.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Still one of the most important

[edit]

It was still one of the defining emo albums of the 90's, being it 1st, 2nd, 3rd wave or whatever. But I get your point. Neon Flow (talk) 16:43, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vinyl

[edit]

My vinyl copy is only missing "Round," and not the other two songs mentioned in the article. It is a later pressing though. I bought it somewhere around 1999 or 2000. Leamanc (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 21:18, 2 November 2008 (UTC).[reply]

Genre

[edit]

Shouldn't we replace "alternative rock" with "post-hardcore"? It seems much more fitting. Anyway, the album is no way the missing link between post-hardcore and emo. Most of the early emo bands were also hardcore and post-hardcore bands (see Rites of Spring and Embrace.

Bonus Tracks

[edit]

The Sub Pop website revealed the bonus tracks,8 & 9 so i added them.

The duration i added is the duration of the mp3s i have,it may be different or cut on the reissue when it comes out.

If it is when it comes out could you please correct it? Thanks --Nirvanarox55 (talk) 13:41, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's still unknown whether the versions of those songs on the album will be the same on Thief, Steal me a Peach. Let's see. Neon Flow (talk) 15:46, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
