What does GPS have to do with Shaders? Shouldnt this be about... computer graphics?

Scope too narrow

[edit]

The term post-processing is used much more widely than described in this article. All sorts of software applications use the term. DFH 21:30, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A Google search for "post-processing" just gave me 1,430,000 results. One with -GPS appended only reduced the result count to 1,350,000. The article should either be deleted or rewritten with a more general scope. DFH 21:34, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest into multiple articles accessible from a disambiguation page

[edit]

As noted above, the term term "post-processing" can just like the term "pre-processing" be used in reference to many process methods. Differential GPS post-processing and video post-processing and only two among many and they alone should be split into two different articles!

You are right. It's a very generic term that has a variety of uses. I've heard or seen it used in relation to image editing, mechanical manufacturing, chemical processes and others. Disambiguate! Santtus 00:00, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
