Deletion[edit]

This is an upcoming album from the Hopeless Records artist, The Human Abstract. This page is a spot where updates can be posted and more information will be added as it is revealed.

AngryMetalGuy.com[edit]

Why were the reviews removed? AngryMetalGuy.com is notable and has been referenced in many different areas, in fact, it has been restored on several wiki entries after having been removed. PhilC. (talk) 13:37, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As a general rule of thumb, if a source or review site doesn't have it's own Wiki article, then the editor who adds material from said source must go the extra mile to demonstrate notability. The idea here being if the site can't demonstrate enough notability to warrant it's own Wiki article, it likely won't make a quality source either; but there are of course some exceptions. Wikiproject Albums no longer supports including reviews in the infobox (the field is to be disabled completely in the near future) so when I performed the edit in which the reviews were moved to their own section, I checked out the two review sites without their own articles. From what I could see, AngryMetalGuy.com did not meet WP:RS or Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Article body#Critical reception criteria. Based on the about us page, it's just two guys that like metal and beer and started a blog. I would suggest opening a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Albums to see what the album-editing community thinks using this blog, but I don't foresee the outcome being positive.
