I'm pretty sure Isaac Dimond's middle initial was M (for Marquand), not H, but I'm leaving it as H until I can check my sources, or until someone else gets to it first.

Yes, it is "M." -- not sure what it stands for. BTW, that whole section is copied nearly verbatim from Romig's Michigan Place Names. I'll see what I can do to minimize the plagarism and copyright concerns.
