Stoke-on-Trent
[edit]Stoke-on-Trent didn't exist until 1910 and wasn't proposed until a year after her death. I assume if she were born where she was today then she would indeed be from Stoke-on-Trent, however could there not be a more accurate place of birth for the author? George Lillie Craik
[edit]This article connects to a bio about a George Lillie Craik who died in 1866. This is not Dinah's husband but her husband's uncle. Her husband was born in 1831 and died in 1896. He was 11 years her junior. I found this info at another site while trying to figure out why the dates didn't make sense in the article. I obtained this info at http://www.utm.edu/staff/lalexand/brnovel/craik.html which contained a brief biography for a class at the University of Tennessee Martin.Mezuro (talk) 00:27, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
The Fairy Book
[edit]I am surprised that there is no mention here of "The Fairy Book", which was [re-?]published (after the author's death) with fine illustrations by Warwick Goble. There is an example of the artwork on the Wikipedia page for Warwick Goble. Thank you for your consideration. -Kurt Pseudonym58 (talk) 17:06, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
