Rathlin
[edit]Does anyone know if Rathlin Island ever formed part of the Diocese of the Isles?--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 06:40, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
- Rathlin appears to have been in the Diocese of Connor since its creation in 1111. Regards Newm30 (talk) 21:53, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
- OK, thanks Newm30.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 06:17, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
I just noticed that in a map of the diocese in the 14th century, within Barrell, A.D.M. (1995) The Papacy, Scotland and Northern England, 1342-1378. Cambridge University Press, the island does not form part of it.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 06:56, 18 March 2012 (UTC) small>Barrell, A.D.M.
