Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the corresponding article on the German Wikipedia makes much stronger claims (which are all you need to pass WP:CSD#A7) of being a professional racing driver and motorcyclist, which may make him inherently notable per WP:NMOTORSPORT if the information can be verified. --Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:29, 9 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because...

I actually posted this on Wakowako's talk page as well but here goes:

I have no objection to the page been deleted if it's not deemed important enough to be included. The reason for me adding the page was actually because whilst following the Dakar Rally I noticed that although featuring on the Dakar Rally Wikipedia page - he was part on the 2009 winning team and runner up in 2011 and 2012 - there was no information about who he was or what his credentials were. Hence I created the wiki page :-) Is this a good enough reason?
