Untitled[edit]

The Soar link goes to something about gliding. What would be an apropriate name for the Soar that this links to? "Soar (AI)" perhaps? The links to BDI and PECS also go to unrelated things. DLCinMaine 06:46, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Merge from Distributed Intelligence[edit]

There's a new Distributed Intelligence (Knowledge Technology) that seems to refer to a subset of distributed artificial intelligence that uses the Resource Description Framework. I don't see a difference between the two terms significant enough to require separate articles. Should the verifiable content in that article be merged here? Proposed Edit[edit]

Here is a proposed edit for the section:

Distributed artificial intelligence Distributed artificial intelligence (DAI) refers to the subfield of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that relates to interfaces of intelligent agents or bots. DAI tries to build decision-making intelligent agents and enable them to attain their objectives and targets in a world inhabited by other intelligent agents with their own goals. The intelligent agent has the capacity to make decisions about how it acts based on experience. The autonomous intelligent agent is an intelligent agent free to choose between multiple actions. http://www.mind.ilstu.edu/curriculum/ants_nasa/intelligent_agents.php https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF00155579 The International Journal of Distributed Artificial Intelligence (IJDAI) disseminates and discusses high-quality research on the theory and application of Artificial Intelligence. It highlights new findings from different fields of science, engineering, and technology. IJDAI refer to the interdisciplinary journal that “brings together researchers from academia, industry, and the government to discuss conceptual issues and implementation of issues using the AI approach in solving real-life problems.” The IJDAI concentrates on AI systems emphasizing more DAI and amend existing learning methodologies as well as create fresh learning standards to deal with complicated real-world issues. https://www.igi-global.com/journal/international-journal-distributed-artificial-intelligence/208696
