Suggested rename

[edit]

"DC World War Memorial" → "District of Columbia War Memorial". Reason: longer version is how it appears in the HABS survey (No. HABS DC-857, search here), which are usually very well researched. Any objections? — Eoghanacht talk 19:32, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested merge

[edit]

Surely the World War I Memorial Foundation article would be better merged into this article. As it is, that article appears to exist for the sole purpose of publicising the foundation. I was originally going to add {{advert}} to the foundation article, but instead I think perhaps a merge would be a better approach and would remove the current appearence of a publicity piece. Sounds like a good idea on its face, but let me take a deeper look at it when I have more time to see how it might all work. SchuminWeb (Talk) 20:04, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
