Question[edit]

What is the difference between a city district and a county? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.103.226.135 (talk) 21:01, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In the PRC, counties are predominantly rural. City district isn't really a proper or adequate translation for the term "市辖区", though. The term is better fully translated as 'city-administered district', and can include fully urban areas, or a combination of urban, suburban, or rural land, so it truly is a mess. —HXL's Roundtable and Record 21:09, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
