Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the sources listed at http://www.diversnight.com/download/articles look pretty impressive. I was doing some due diligence prior to my intended tagging of this page, but the event claims eight years of attendance, 2749 divers on 218 dive sites in 20 countries in 2009. That's an assertion of importance to me. If these Norwegian sources hold up, I think this passes the bar for multiple independent secondary sources directly detailing the subject. It may not pass WP:EVENT, but it's not a hoax, and it seems well documented. There may be minor copyvio issues, but normal editing could fix this. --BusterD (talk) 03:56, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tha bar for A7 is low, and that sounds like enough to beat it. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:24, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I was wondering about notability myself. It would be good to get a few more references onto the page. • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 08:16, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Is there an equivalent article in a Norwegian Wikipedia? • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 08:29, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
