Proposed rename
[edit]I propose this page be renamed. The Ukrainian name is Naddnipryanshchyna, but in English, this area is referred to as Dnieper Valley. Considering that Naddnipryanshchyna is not a word that can be used easily, I recommend Dnieper Valley. USchick (talk) 17:37, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- A distinction must be made between the geographical region, which one would refer to as you say, and the political-administrative reference to the lands of Ukraine in proximity to and both sides of the Dnieper (historical name; today Dnipro).
- The content of this article obviously refers to the latter. Dho1 (talk) 01:22, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
