Hello, my name is CaliforniaDreamsFan, and I'll be reviewing your article! Full review coming soon, so stay tuned!

Infobox[edit]

  • Remove caption and cover, since it's unnecessary here.

Lead section[edit]

  • Remove "recorded" since there is already "recording artist"; repetition.
  • I don't wanna sound dumb, but what's a "grat track"?
  • Link Pop to pop music in both infobox and the lead please.
  • "Well received" — by critics? Mention this.
  • I would just mention something like, "Well received by music critics (link), "Do You Wanna Come Over?" was considered by several publications as a highlight amongst the material from Glory." Don't be too specific with critics, unless its very limited.
  • Remove "has" before "charted".
  • What position in France?

Background and release[edit]

  • Before "In November 2015", I don't think majority of the content is relevant to the article (the parts of Justin Tranter and Julia Michael are, since they relate to the writing process). Maybe a sentence or two about starting new material, but majority of it would be for the parent album and maybe the lead single; so try remove parts of it.
  • "In late 2016" — Do you mean mid 2016? I'm pretty sure July is mid.
  • "of first single" — "of the albums lead single"

Composition[edit]

  • Define the quote box at the top; there is not caption or description.
  • Unlink Michaels and Tranter since they are already linked in the first part of the article.
  • Link pop to pop music.
  • Remove the parentheses of the time; slightly tedious if you've mentioned the time in worded-format.
  • That's a very long quote by Amy Roberts at Bustle; either create a block quote, or try para-phrasing it.
  • Italicise Slant Magazine, and it's corresponding reference.

Critical reception[edit]

  • Link music critics.
  • You repeat the same structure each critic and publication for each sentence a lot; try change it up with something like, "(Someone), writing for (Somewhere)" or (Somewhere)'s (Someone)".
  • Likewise, change "of" with something like "from" or "at".
  • Italicise Slant Magazine.
  • "was positive while noting that the track" — "was positive towards the track, noting"
  • Add "Similarly" before "Nolan Feeney", and then remove "also"; just to change it up a bit from repetitive structure.
  • Italicise Vice.

Live performances[edit]

  • Remove "as well as "Make Me..."," — trivial towards the article.
  • Define which Today show your talking about (there are so many).
  • "used" — "wore"
  • Add a reference to her performance at iHeartRadio.

Charts[edit]

  • Your sentence slightly jumps to conclusions a bit; try this, ""Do You Wanna Come Over?" solely debuted at number 135 on the week of August 20, 2016 on the French Singles Chart, and later climbed to number 134 the following week, becoming its peak position and the highest charting promotional single from Glory.(reference)

Overall GA conclusion[edit]

A really good article! On hold for 7 days for additional editing. Please ping me for any inquires or when you have finished! Good luck CaliforniaDreamsFan (talk · contribs} 06:14, 1 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to draw your attention to the dialogue at the bottom of Talk:Clumsy (Britney Spears song)/GA1 please. There seems to be a pattern emerging of nominating infantile and recent articles which are being nominated far, far too early. The parent album has only been released 4 weeks and future single announcements could massively change the content of this article if chosen as an article or if it garners enough attention to warrant new content being addition, altering the condition of the article under which it would be passed at present and therefore perhaps not meeting the criteria anymore.  — Calvin999 15:56, 1 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

My sincere apologises for the wait; based on our review through the discussion above, I have to fail this. Everything is aligned, but just pushing it out another couple of months (due to the discussion above) would be viable. I hope you understand my reasoning, cheers.
