The recipe does not match the version on the Russian page, which I think is more likely to be true given its higher importance to the average Russian speaker than the average English speaker. I can't be bothered to verify which is right for real, but someone should. --07:09, 7 December 2020‎ 174.127.210.94 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:C8:470D:4400:4C25:86E6:1534:5A4A (talk)

"Non-constructive Edits"[edit]

So let me get this straight.

It isn't "productive" to include the direct witness account of somebody who lived when the "Doctor Sausage" (NOT "Doctor's Sausage") was introduced; but a website not citing its sources, which goes against an official publication of the People's Directorate of the Food Industry of the USSR is a primary source? --2003:C8:470D:4400:4C25:86E6:1534:5A4A (talk) 20:03, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The correct recipe[edit]

I have tracked down the relevant GOST standard. The recipe on the Russian Wikipedia is indeed correct; I've made the changes. Please let me know if I have cited the document incorrectly (the agency that hosts the file with the scan of the standard is not the document's originator and provided as a courtesy, not sure if that's correct for Wikipedia) Sampavel (talk) 01:26, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
