GA Review

[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch

I'll be conducting this review. All the elements of a good article are here, but there are a number of sourcing problems that need teido be addressed before it can pass. Please address each item line-by-line and I'll strike them as we go...

Lead

Plot

  • There's really no need for citations in the plot summary as per WP:MOSTV, which says the episode itself serves as the primary source when it comes to plot summaries. If you want to keep the citations in there, by all means go ahead, but you don't have to.
  • This plot summary is too long according to WP:MOSTV, which says a plot summary should be about 200 to 500 words. Considering this is only a 22-minute episode, there's no reason it should be above 500. I'd suggest cutting the last paragraph (about the opera singer) altogether, which would cut it down to 495 words and solve the problem right there.

Production

  • "First touched upon at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con International in San Diego, California..." What does "first touched upon" mean? Could you reword to be more clear?
  • "...written by Callaghan before the conclusion of the seventh production season of Family Guy, and after the end of the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike, of which Callaghan participated in." The source doesn't seem to reflect this...
  • "In comparison to previous appearances, as a one-joke character, Consuela received a much larger, expanded role in the episode, including the introduction of her adult nephew, Mikey, who attempts to sell Peter a light-up yo-yo." This needs a source.
    • Done, removed sentence as I couldn't find an exact reference. Gage (talk) 21:39, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
      • "In comparison to previous appearances, as a one-joke character, Consuela received a much larger, expanded role in the episode, including the introduction of her adult nephew, Mikey." This all still needs a source.

I'll place this article on hold for now. Thanks! — Hunter Kahn 21:02, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
