Dismabig

[edit]

This was not a proper disambig page. I've refactored the second half into Dogcart (dog-drawn). jnestorius(talk) 18:50, 1 February 2009 (UTC) [reply]

Why Dog?

[edit]

But what has such a vehicle to do with a dog? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.100.108.140 (talk) 20:10, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(Belated but...) See Wiktionary—dogcart: "...The rear seat originally closed up to form a box for carrying dogs." Bjenks (talk) 04:14, 2 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sporting shooters?

[edit]

The article uses the term "sporting shooters" without definition. I am well-educated, but have no idea what this means. Can someone who definitely understands this term please either change it to something clearer or define it? David Spector (talk) 18:22, 31 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

People who practice some form of shooting sport, in this case involving travel and the carriage of guns, lunch and any prey shot. Typically this would be rough shooting of birds or a grouse moor etc. Andy Dingley (talk) 19:21, 31 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dog-drawn vehicle

[edit]

I knew this definition of a dogcart but what do you call a cart drawn by dogs? https://twitter.com/Beardynoise/status/1306527523166191618/photo/1 Chuunen Baka (talkcontribs) 16:26, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dokar?

[edit]

There is a redirect Dokar which arrives to this article, but the photos don't match anything related to "Dogcart". Grorp (talk) 10:09, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
