Did an Australia location ever open? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.253.4.143 (talk) 01:49, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Too much detail? Do we really need to know everything on the menu, down to possible substitutions? I think this article started as a PR page possibly submitted by someone affiliated with marketing for this establishment and, despite some helpful changes by multiple contributors, it still seems to need some trimming. If no one objects after a few days, I may come back and do some merciless pruning... Mooveeguy 16:21, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I object. What else is there to say? Relevant and interesting. See also Medieval Times. -- Stbalbach 19:58, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK. Mooveeguy 15:51, 3 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No utensils? How do you eat the soup? 76.212.156.18 (talk) 12:16, 6 March 2008 (UTC)Sandy[reply]

The soup is sipped, because it is in a cup with a handle. Also, I wanted to point out that this article seems a little bit biased against the business. In Branson, Dixie Stampede is arguably the most popular show in the city, and this article comes across like it is an awful place to go.--12.104.206.150 (talk) 18:35, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And I suppose the vegetarian pasta is served in a gravy boat? I understand the reference but I am positive that utensils can be provided if requested. J.Rly (talk) 04:38, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Full title etc.[edit]

According to the Dixie Stampede web site, its full title is "Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede Dinner Attraction". It doesn't really fit the term "dinner theater" because it's a very broad attraction, mostly arena-based, with the dinner an important part of the whole thing. I've rewritten the first paragraph to be what I think is more accurate. Because the Myrtle Beach venue is still part of the chain, albeit with a different style, I also revised the Locations section.
