Capital

[edit]

I've found a couple of her autographs in the web, and it appears that she signed as "Dolores Del Rio", with a capital D in "Del" and without accent mark in "Rio". (http://www.historyforsale.com/html/prodetails.asp?documentid=253991, http://www.memorabilia-uk.co.uk/acatalog/showwindow.php?id=1742, http://cgi.ebay.com/Dolores-Del-Rio-Actress-Autograph-Mexico_W0QQitemZ170014531359QQihZ007QQcategoryZ59QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem.)

There is, of course, the matter of authenticity of those autographs (I've read that eBay autographs, for instance, are particularly suspect) -- but as they come from different sources and are very similar, I am skipping that issue.

IMDB prefers "Dolores del Rio", but lists "Dolores Del Rio" as "sometimes credited with" (in 6 of her 61 movies, according to IMDB).

Shouldn't we rename the page to "Dolores Del Rio", as she signed her name that way, or to "Dolores del Rio", the way she was credited most frequently? --Miguel Vieira 12:49, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DID DOLORES have a sister???? That's odd...

In what sense is the Duke of Windsor "another figure associated to Communism"? If anything, the man was associated with Fascism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.0.26.187 (talk) 03:35, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A very interesting article, but parts read like they’ve been badly translated: the English is stilted. There is also a lot of repetition, eg information about her husbands and lovers is in the main text and in the personal life section. 86.141.250.185 (talk) 08:28, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
