  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
Use the lede to summarise the article, not to say things like "as described in the section "Clash With Roddenberry's Vision?" and its references." 'Majel recently said'- don't refer to people by first name only, especially not the first time you mention them. Same with the GR acronym, it's both unexplained and unnecessary. 'The section which follows is a summary of major narrative themes relating to the Dominion War story-arcs, with references to their appearance in the episodes and seasons of the television show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and in other canon Star Trek series and materials.'; this isn't a good way to introduce a section. In general, this article needs a through copy-edit.
    B. MoS compliance:
Same issues as above, an independent copy-edit will also help bring it in line with the MoS. Also, there's no need to send the reader to the same main article in every season section. Mention it once, if you want, but not every time.
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
Pick a consistent citation style. The majority of the article uses footnotes, but the Conception section throws in a parenthetical reference.
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
This article needs more "real-world" sources. A quick glance at them; ref 1 is to IMDb, which is not reliable, and too many other citations are quotes from DS9 episodes.
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
You need more information about how the story-line was received, and not just how it was viewed by those already close to Star Trek as a franchise.
    B. Focused:
What is this article actually about? The infobox is mentions seven seasons, and 176 episodes, yet the Dominion was never encountered until the end of the second season. You may want to pick an entirely different infobox- Time War (Doctor Who), while by no means a great article, demonstrates the, IMO, better use of Infobox military conflict. Temporal Cold War uses Infobox fictional conflict, another suitable choice.
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
    No problems here.
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
    No problems here, either
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
The USS Majestic image needs to be reduced in size per the non-free criteria.
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
This article has a number of problems, and as such, I will not be listing it as a good article at present. After improvements, feel free to renominate it at WP:GAN. Courcelles (talk) 18:46, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
