Domnonia/Dumnonia

[edit]

There appears to be some confusion between this and the south-west English kingdom of Dumnonia. Flapdragon 11:36, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Amazing - i think that's your missing the whole point - this is really fascinating how us insular 'Brits' continue to be ignorant of our complex cultural heritage - or maybe we have quite consciously had our historical slate wiped cleaned by 'English' imperialists for a very good reason? this is the first i've heard of a cross channel Brythonic kingdom surviving so late into history, but its exactly what's described in Monmouth and Cornish/Devon folk history - never mind the cross channel linguistic and cultural evidence.

if anyone has further information on Beauport please could it be linked here? 21:05, 3 February 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.35.115.3 (talk)
