Unable to find sources for this info
[edit]- Date of birth = July 23, 1935. I can only find a source that he was born in 1935.
- Born in Twin Falls, Idaho
- Parents were Duane Aslett (1909-1983) and Opal Nora Ross (1915-2004) - the only thing I could find is this primary record buried in Shoshone Cemetery, Lincoln County Idaho, which does not tie Don to his parents
- he was the second of five children (one sister, three brothers).
- His father was involved in building many of the roads in Southern Idaho
- attended Idaho State College (now Idaho State University) from 1954
- with a 2-year hiatus to serve a church mission...
- {{unbulleted list|Laura Aslett Simons|Karla Aslett Ray|Grant Aslett|Elizabeth Aslett Clark|Cindy Aslett Miles|Rell Aslett}}
- Barbara Morris
(1957 - present) - only sources say her name is Barbara, have found no surname or date of marriage

Not enough for this to be notable
[edit]I am not finding much at all of this kind of information:
Aslett has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show[1] and several other nationally-televised programs. He has also served as a motivational speaker[1] for several business and government-related entities.--CaroleHenson (talk) 12:37, 15 December 2016 (UTC)

- Looks like I spoke too soon. I thought maybe he made some appearance, but apparently he made thousands of appearances. Moving it back to the article.--CaroleHenson (talk) 18:16, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
