[edit]I have never nominated an article for speedy deletion before, however it has come to my attention that the main author of this page is also the subject. Subject has not published anything of note, and the article is littered with self-congratulatory trash like 'In spite of his reported high intelligence...' (or consider googling for his 'best known quote', which is only online on this page). I spend much of my time simply fixing articles to avoid deletion, but I believe that this article should be deleted, and not recreated until such time as subject does something of note. Should anyone not from an IP address traceable to the university be willing to defend and rewrite the article, I will withdraw.Thespian (talk) 21:59, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
To note
[edit]Should there be questions about my note on the the userids, 'downacross' is an alias used for external mail programs. Thespian (talk) 23:32, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
I rewrote it
[edit]Shortening, and removing what I hope is most of the copyvio from various university web pages. When a professor's bio omits a link to his university site, it often means he copied it from there. Basically, I think Director of the McGovern Center is notable.
