Media Lens

[edit]

I have removed a reference to this group from the article on a couple of occasions. I did so on the grounds of Media Lens failing to meet the requirements of being a reliable source according to Wikipedia policies. Basically it is not admissible because it is an unaffiliated blog displaying fringe attitudes and lacks editorial oversight. Notable criticism of Macintyre's interview with Tony Blair may well be around to be cited, given the low esteem in which Blair is held it must be considered quite probable. It would then be illegitimate to remove criticism of Macintyre. If no such source exists, as far as Wikipedia is concerned, citing Media Lens would be giving undue prominence to fringe opinions.
