German language films? I don't think so
[edit]At least de:Goya – oder der arge Weg der Erkenntnis had been a Russian-GDR co-production, where the actors spoke in their own language and which had been produced in two different language versions from the outset, for the Russian see ru:Гойя, или Тяжкий путь познания (фильм). A wonderful film, by the way. But I don't know about this Beethoven film. --L.Willms (talk) 06:09, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- It's unlikely that in Goya – oder der arge Weg der Erkenntnis he played in Lithuanian. His German was better than his Russian. In other DEFA films - Beethoven and Mama, ich lebe he played in German. One of the reasons he successfully collaborated with DEFA was his German. 89.117.10.9 (talk) 17:39, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
Kaunas in 1924
[edit]"Donatas Banionis was born on 28 April 1924 in Kaunas, Lithuania" -- in 1924 Kaunas was in Poland - up to 1939 Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact--Vigoshi (talk) 08:50, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- CHeck your data, please. You confused Kaunas with Vilmius. 89.117.10.9 (talk) 17:28, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
- Check your data, please, you confused Kaunas with Vilnius. In the period from 1920 up to 1939 Kaunas was a temporary capital of Lithuania as the actual capital Vilnius was annexed by Poland. 89.117.10.9 (talk) 17:30, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
