one-quarter mile interior exercise track?

The track cannot be 1/4 mile in circumference if it is really indoors

(100 ft diameter * PI = 314 ft, approximately 1/18 of a mile)

...unless the track is a spiral of some kind.

  • I tweaked the phrasing. Yes, the "quarter mile track" claim is in the NRHP application and yes, the math doesn't work out if the barn is really 100 feet in diameter, but that is also sourced. One source or the other has to be off. I added a footnote to note the discrepancy. I will note that the people who owned the barn were not above hyperbole, the "ten-horse wagon of hay" comment is also a bit over the top. Montanabw(talk) 22:33, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
