Publications

[edit]

This section is unreferenced and appears as a directory of sorts (WP:NOT). It may have to be removed. --Nouniquenames (talk) 06:20, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No, major publications merit listing and normally do not require referencing, as their existence can be verified via WorldCat and the like. Wikipedia articles routinely present a list of the books produced by a photographer, and indeed I happily add them myself (most recently to the otherwise dismal non-article on Ryōji Akiyama). However, if some listed item seems of trivial importance, or if you have reason to doubt the veracity of some item, feel free to speak up. -- Hoary (talk) 00:15, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It seems I was mistaken. --Nouniquenames (talk) 03:58, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Exhibitions

[edit]

In contrast to the above, exhibitions do require referencing. My guess is that many, perhaps even all, of those listed in the article can be verified in the recent book about Bohm's work (a copy of which I don't happen to have with me here); but anyway they'll need referencing. -- Hoary (talk) 00:11, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

[edit]

I'd guess that "Category:Jews who emigrated to the United Kingdom to escape Nazism" should be added, but don't know for sure. Informed comments? -- Hoary (talk) 00:11, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This seems reasonable to me. --Nouniquenames (talk) 05:26, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Surely if DB's parents had an awareness of what was brewing in Germany and also the funds, they'd have sent her somewhere. But who knows, there may have been other, ethnicity-irrelevant factors at play. I'll have to look in the book about her. Unless of course the author of this article would like to do so first. -- Hoary (talk) 11:01, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Verified. -- Hoary (talk) 23:31, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hungarian book

[edit]

The Hungarian book is a bit of an obscurity (unless you're in Hungary), but we can read about it (in Hungarian) here and here. -- Hoary (talk) 01:36, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
