Produce Credits[edit]

Right from the liner notes:

Album Executive Producer: Jimmy Ienner Album Producers: KISS and Sean Delaney

"Strutter '78" Executive Producer: Jimmy Ienner Producers: KISS and Sean Delaney

Sure, the producers listed were producers of the original works, but NOT of this particular overall work. SHouldn't there be a mention of this in the article or in the Producer's box??

Next KISS album is Gene Simmons[edit]

All four solo albums are listed as KISS albums on their website. They are also listed as KISS albums on allmusic.com. And according to the rather comprehensive book The Kiss Album Focus, the albums all counted against KISS's contract with Casablanca Records. In the future, I ask that you bring things like this up BEFORE making changes. --cholmes75 16:52, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Additional album editions[edit]

I also own a single cover sleeve vinyl edition of Double Platinum. Released around 1987, the single sleeve version has both vinyl LPs stuffed into one thick cover sleeve. There is no embossing on the cover, and the KISS logo looks like a photograph of the original embossed cover. There are no insets. The track listing is on the back of the cover. Fair use rationale for Image:Double platinum album cover.jpg[edit]

Image:Double platinum album cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 01:13, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Next album[edit]

So... I'm quite happy following along the chronology in the infobox from one (Kiss) album to the next and it goes from here to the Gene Simmons solo album which I believe, from reading above, that it is part of the Kiss discography. This is fair enough, but then if I want to carry along the Kiss discog timeline, I can't because next album on the Gene Simmons solo album is... the next Gene Simmons solo album and not the next Kiss album! Now I need to go back to the main discography article and pick up the Kiss album line again. Should the "next album" on the GS solo album be changed to the next Kiss album? Or what? I only ask because changing without consensus is a very bad thing in today's climate! Thanks. – B.hoteptalk• 16:47, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My sugestion would be to have to chronologies one for Gene solo and another for Kiss (and obviously do the same for Peter, Paul and Ace. Is there an actual chronology for the for "solo" albums is it just random? -J04n (talk) 17:59, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oops. Actually, I didn't notice the double chronology on the GS solo album. You can still follow the Kiss discography from there. What was confusing was (a) it goes to another Kiss solo album, and (b) I didn't have my reading glasses on! – B.hoteptalk• 11:22, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
