Removed Unprecedented Statement[edit]

Until it is actually proved to have come from the players, this has no place here. At the moment, Aston Villa are officially denying it. Gretnagod 11:39, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deadly Doug[edit]

has no one mentioned the anecdote about his nickname and his prowess with "the priest"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnnybriggs (talkcontribs) 19:34, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Died in Kosovo????[edit]

It's not in the source for his death and raises the question of what a 94-year-old retired sports executive was doing in the Balkans. I've been here long enough to know that there's a problem with editors from small obscure countries who love to plaster references to their country all over popular articles, so I'm taking this as false unless a source can be found.
