I have added links (usually piped) to this article from other wiki articles, including Richard K. Sutherland, Robert Kelly (navy), Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron Three, Motor Torpedo Boat PT-41, John D. Bulkeley, and They Were Expendable. Let me encourage interested editors to identify and edit other pertinent articles where it would be appropriate to link to this one. Entirely too pro-MacArthur

[edit]

Reads like an apologist's propaganda. Bugged out & became a hero for it?? Little mention of Wainwright. This entry needs to be re-done. Horrible. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:CF99:2080:6505:E9B0:4A08:E779 (talk) 02:18, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

There is some bad vandalism at the begining. Looks like this article needs to be protected or restricted somehow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:C2:9738:8376:CCCA:3308:6CF1:34F3 (talk) 06:35, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

They Were Expendable

[edit]

This article claims that Bulkeley wrote this book, but othwe wiki articles credit it to W.L. White. Mang (talk) 13:39, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That's correct. My mistake. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 20:38, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
