if someone could translate and incorporate nl:Douwe Egberts that would be great because the nl page has much more information.

Translation complete

I've translated the Dutch article. As wikification is needed, and probably copyediting as well, I've incorporated notices to that extent. Even though it's now longer than the previous English version, the current version is still too brief for a company with such an impact on Dutch society, and perhaps other societies as well. In the following days I will try to improve this article. I hope the current information will already be helpful. I'm not too experienced, so I will not edit the request on the Translation Requested page until I've found out the proper way to do so :) Ivo van der Horst 3 July 2005 13:04 (UTC)

Pronunciation Douwe Egberts

It's not pronounced as Dewy Edwards, as was mentioned here. I removed that section. It's pronounced like Dow-uh Ekh-beh-rts, with the kh being a guttural dutch g. Kweniston (talk) 14:39, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

The 'eh' sound is indeed heard prominently in correct pronunciation of the first word as 'dow eh'. But the article says it differently right now. Isn't it a good idea to edit this in some way? Mlodewijk (talk) 12:46, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
